New Visions Clean and Green Action Team and Tri County Clean Ways team up to clean Neshannock Creek Trail

Photo-Nesh Cr Wrap Up 11-14-15

New Visions Clean and Green Action Team led by Mary Burris joined forces with Tri-County Cleanways Saturday November 14 to clean up the Neshannock Trail from Paper Mill Bridge to the Hickory Township Line.  Special thanks goes to the city of New Castle for picking up the clean-up bags and other debris.

Experts agree the enhancement of the Neshannock Creek can spark a revival of New Castle and Lawrence County.  In October the city of New Castle and Lawrence County officials opened a newly paved portion of the Neshannock Creek Trail from Croton Avenue to Paper Mill Bridge, just over 1.1 miles.  Over the past year New Visions Clean and Green Action Team partnered with Tri-County Cleanways and local businesses in cleaning up that part of the trail.
